The Republic of South Africa is a located on the southern tip of Africa. It is the richest and most industrialized country on that continent. South Africa is the world's largest exporter of non petroleum minerals, especially gold, platinum, diamonds, and coal.

Until 1991 the nation suffered under apartheid, a system of racial discrimination instituted by the white ruling class. Despite the repeal of apartheid in 1991 and subsequent free elections in 1994, South Africa is spiralling downward into corruption and rampant crime, making it the most dangerous land in the world. Only fervent prayer and the spread of the Gospel can end the legacy of violence, mistrust, and hatred that is pulling South Africa into despair.
